Po-Zu the ecological footwear

We are very excited and proud to stock Po-Zu shoes and boots on Shoegarden.
The ethical standards and the blissful comfort were the two main things that attracted us to the brand.
“Po-Zu” comes from the Japanese ポーズ, meaning to pause. The company’s mission is to provide the feet with unique respite from the frantic pace of busy lives and to minimize their footwear manufacturing impact on the environment.
The range of Vegetarian and Vegan shoes attract a lot of attention as they designs are so simple, yet beautiful.
The British tweed used for most of the uppers adds to the authenticity of the brand and makes the shoes toasty warm.
Pure wool, tweed, cork, felt, eco microfiber, coconut husk, natural latex…these are some the natural materials they use in the production of the shoes, which contain no pesticides, bleaches or toxic dyes.
Furthermore one of their promises is “to use the highest quality natural components and to use renewable, low impact materials wherever possible” .
The shoes are made in Portugal in a factory with a strict non-toxic policy and they recycle nearly all their waste products, including fabric off-cuts and water.
Po-Zu is certified by the Ethical Company Organisation as a company that upholds human rights and animal welfare, and works to protect the environment.
On the top of all these ethical principles, Po-Zu shoes are a real bliss for the feet.
Now they’ve been tried and tested by our staff (who are absolutely in love with them) we highly recommend you to try a pair!
